
Dr Matthias Unterkircher is a nutritionist and nutrition scientist who trained at the German University for Prevention and Health Management and the University of San Raffaele in Rome. During his training, he learned the diagnostic methods of reflex auricular cardiology (RAC) and functional myodiagnostics (FMD) and has been working as a nutritionist in South Tyrol since 2020.
The programme at the German University of Applied Sciences also includes training as a fitness trainer and nutrition coach. He provides advice on healthy eating and lifestyles for different age groups, as well as for athletes and women during pregnancy.
An important part of his work is the prevention of diet-related diseases, which include the metabolic syndrome, such as the treatment of overweight, obesity, dyslipidaemias and high blood pressure.
